South Knox art tour set for April 11

The South Knoxville Alliance will hold an Art Tour along several key locations in South Knoxville on April 11, 10:00 to 4:00.

The Second Saturday South event will include 5 marked stops. Borderland Tees will feature wood work and multi-media sculptures, Ijams Nature Center will exhibit paintings by Robert Thompson , Tea & Treasures will host an “Art Market” with several artists on their lawn, and Marble City Glass will give glassblowing demonstrations .

Also, Candoro Arts & Heritage will host an evening of entertainment with a pot luck, puppet show and square dance. All events are free and open to the public. See the SouthKnoxvilleAlliance.org for more information, times and directions.

The Colonial Village-Lake Forest Dogwood Trail, the featured trail of the 2015 Dogwood Arts Festival, does run into the South Knox Art Tour at Magazine Rd, Moreland Hgts, and Martin Mill Pike.
