Despite what the Other Folks will have you believe, things are not hunky dory between the Knox County Commission and the School Board.
In fact, there are a couple of officials who - it's pretty safe to say - hate each other. (Strong dislike?)
In the meantime, one commissioner has requested the names of everyone in the school system who makes $100,000 or more annually.
In response, the school system asked the county for the same info. As of right now, only the county has complied. You can find that list, right smack here.
If the school system answers, I'll let you know.
The two boards will hold a retreat Friday evening and part of Saturday in Maryville where they're expected to talk about educational standards and finances. If it's anything like the last time they all hung out, they'll put on a show, pat each other on the bags and then wait a few weeks before starting the trash talk.
